Without monetary details, it is hard to decide if it is truly "landmark" or the largest partnership to date, but it is certainly an intriguing development in the collegiate esports space. KoVaak has already made strides in the collegiate esports space inking several deals with colleges and collegiate platforms around the country.

Charles Murray the SUNY esports commissioner is reportedly excited to partner with KoVaaK in an effort to, "propel the competitive skill of the teams within SUNY Esports." The partnership will look to provide the software to students, and also work to promote "academic cross-departmental collaboration."

Partnerships between endemic esports organizations and major state institutions are a major positive for the space, but it remains to be seen how far/deep this partnership will go. For all major collegiate esports news keep it locked to Esports.gg.
