MoistCr1TiKaL, owner of Moist Esports, has taken to YouTube to complain about his Apex roster struggling to acquire a visa for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs. Two members of the team are from Australia, and do not have legal status in the United States. 



This roster, which is one of the favourites to win the competition, still does not have permission to enter the United States to compete. According to MoistCr1TiKaL, the team will only be able to compete if they are released from the organisation.



According to his YouTube video, the team has been released as a result of this struggle. Supposedly, this was the only way the team would be able to compete at the event.

MoistCr1TiKaL vented passionately for over ten minutes on YouTube about his experiences trying to get the Most Esports Apex Legends team permission to enter the United States for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs.



In an impassioned rant, MoistCr1TiKaL revealed that even with EA executives and the best immigration lawyers working alongside the organisation, they simply cannot get the visas sorted before the event.







"We have been working with the best lawyers in the industry. The best lawyers on the f***king planet that specialise in this field. None of them can believe that we have been declined, again. They've never had these issues before. They are as stunned as we are. 



"We even have one of the highest level executives at EA going to bat for us with US immigration and lobbying for us...even with the goddam Avengers on our side US immigration slams the door and turns us away like it is a lacrosse house party in college."



He goes on to add that he believes "I'm convinced that if Jesus Christ resurrected right now, US immigration would turn him away."



As hinted at in the video, this is not the first issue Moist Esports have had with US immigration. The team were unable to secure visas to relocate to the

Fortnite’s Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration event is officially underway. Between now and May 3, players can enjoy the Elements Pass, which includes the Aang skin and various other Avatar-inspired cosmetics. Additionally, three new Avatar Mythics, including Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending, have debuted in Fortnite. 



These three in-game abilities join Waterbending in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 loot pool. This article explains everything you need to know about the Avatar Mythics. 



New Fortnite Avatar Mythics explained (Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending)







Waterbending has been in Fortnite since April 2, meaning the three other elemental abilities were held aside for the Fortnite Avatar: The Last Airbender event. Those familiar with the source material should know what to expect, but if you’re not, here’s an official description per Epic Games. 














Earthbending – Summon chunks of earth to hurl at foes or use them to create defensive barriers.



Firebending – Produce flames to launch arcs of fire towards foes, or slam down from above in a fiery explosion.



Airbending – Harness the air around you to enhance your mobility. Use “air wheel” to traverse great distances, or “air jump” to launch yourself and nearby players into the air.

Like the Waterbending Avatar Mythic in Fortnite, you can find the Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending Mythics as Floor Loot or in Chests. However, new shrines have appeared following the latest update. These structures are themed to water, earth, fire, and air. Head inside any of these shrines and open the Bending Scroll Container to acquire the associated Avatar Mythic.

As mentioned above, the Water Chakra Quests are now live in Fortnite. There are six in total, and after completing just four, you will receive the first of six Chakras, which count toward your Fortnite Appa Glider progress. 



The Earth Chakra Quests will unlock on April 15 at 9 a.m. Once that time comes, you will need to complete four of those to "open the Earth Chakra." Players must repeat this process for the Fire, Air, and Light and Sound Chakras to claim the Appa Glider.

Amongst these cosmetics is Aang’s trusty flying bison Appa in Fortnite Glider form. This will definitely become a popular option, especially for Avatar fans, and we will explain how to unlock it.

The Appa Glider is part of the separate Elements Pass, which features a “Free” and “Premium” Track. However, you don’t need to pay the 1,000 V-Bucks to acquire it. Instead, you must complete the “Chakra” Quests, released sequentially between now and April 25.

Honkai: Star Rail is still in the thick of 2.1, but the banners for 2.2 may have already been revealed. A reputed source for leaks has revealed what could be the Warps for the game's next version. For players on the fence about pulling for Acheron or Acheron, knowing the next banner can help you make your decision. 



We already know about new characters Robin and Boothill, but if the leaks are accurate, we also know which reruns will accompany them.

Leaks claim that Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 will feature banners for Robin and Topaz followed by Boothill with either Fu Xuan or Argenti as the rerun. 



The Somnus Leaks Telegram channel first leaked the 2.2 banners in English on Apr. 9. While no leaks by their nature are never 100% sure, this is a relatively trusted source of advanced Honkai info. 



Robin is a natural choice as the first new 5-star of 2.2. The stylish singer’s drip marketing campaign started shortly before Boothill, and she already plays an important role in the story. The 2.2 story update will likely expand upon her role in Penacony society. Boothill as the second banner is slightly more surprising, as his occupation as a true Galaxy Ranger could put him at odds with Acheron.

The rerun banners for Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 are more interesting. If correct, this will be Topaz and Numby’s first rerun banner since their release in Oct. 2023. They are the second-oldest character in the game to not have a rerun banner, so Topaz wanters can finally spend some Stellar Jade.

The Esports World Cup have announced that Apex Legends is joining the vast roster of games to have events in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this summer. 



The event, taking place over several weeks this summer, will feature a huge library of games including other EA titles like EA FC.



There is not yet officially confirmed details on how big the prize pool will be, or how teams and players will qualify for the event.

Apex Legends involvement in Esports World Cup helps bring organisations back



This announcement answers a recent Apex Legends mystery. Several organisations had departed Apex Legends in acrimonious circumstances over the last 18 months. However, there has been a huge influx of returning organisations since the turn of the year.



Spacestation Gaming, NAVI, Cloud 9, Virtus.pro and more have all re-entered Apex Legends competitive. There has been rumours of even more organisations looking for a team, including the likes of Team Liquid.



But, it wasn't exactly clear what had changed. Most of these organisations left because of a lack of revenue sharing. That doesn't seem anywhere close on the horizon, so the about face didn't quite add up.



But, after todays Apex Legends Esports World Cup announcement, fans can finally see why there is a renewed interest in the Battle Royale's esports scene.

Paper Rex is one of the leading teams in the Pacific Region, while GenG is probably one of the challengers that can upset some of the best in the region. The teams kicked off the series on Lotus where PRX had a clear advantage. Their aggressive maneuvers meant they raced off to an 8-4 half despite losing the first rounds. However, once on the flip side, it was a similar scenario. PRX won the first two rounds, but GenG's attack was similarly potent. There were several moments of brilliance on both sides.

Even though the teams had strong performances on both sides, GenG's attack was much better than PRX allowing them to take the lead in the first map.

Risk of Rain 2 is getting a big breath of fresh air with its next DLC Seekers of the Storm. The new expansion, themed around “devotion,” will add more stages, bosses, and items to the already massive pool. While initially announced in late 2023, the studio has finally shown off content for the new DLC. 



Developer Hopoo Games and publisher Gearbox revealed plans for the DLC on Apr. 10, 2024. The content will center around the triad of Aurelionite, Providence, and Mithrix, and how they interact with the planet’s Lemurian population.



Risk of Rain 2 Seekers of the Storm DLC takes players up a massive statue



The main story of the DLC will take place on a massive statue of Providence, the final boss of the original Risk of Rain.



Players will encounter a new green portal to access the DLC. The exact circumstances are still a secret, but the reveal implies that the climb is intended for players already deep in a run. They will then pop out at the base of the Providence statue and have to fight their way up. 



No new finals bosses or endings are confirmed yet, but the Survivors of the Void DLC implies that players will gain another way to end their journey.

In addition to the main story, the new DLC will add plenty of new items, bosses, and stages to Risk of Rain 2. The dev diary appears to show off at least four new stages, one of which is confirmed to be in the regular pool. 



The Shattered Abode is a massive wide-open stage full of crumbling architecture. Long-range classes should have a fun time there. Items and bosses are still under wraps but expect a similar amount as Survivors of the Void.

You can quickly complete this Quest to destroy a cabbage cart by landing on one and using your Pickaxe or any weapon to break it. It may sound simple, and that's because it is. Destroying a cabbage cart in Fortnite requires just two Pickaxe swings. Once that's done, a collection of consumable cabbages will fall to the ground.



However, the important note is that you will complete the "destroy a cabbage cart" Quest, which will earn you 350 CHI. This currency is used in the Fortnite Avatar event pass, featuring cosmetics such as the Aang skin and Appa Glider. Many more challenges are included, but this is a solid jumping-off point for embarking on the Fortnite x Avatar journey.



Those looking to acquire the Avatar State Aang skin must earn 11,000 CHI. That gives you an idea of the work required to complete the Avatar event pass before it ends on May 3.

Riot Games recently announced the return of the highly popular Arena mode. From new game sizes to a brand new type of item, we've compiled all the details from Riot's announcement.



Arena was introduced to League of Legends in 2023 as a new alternative for a fast-paced, casual, party-style game mode. With All Random, All Mid (ARAM) being the only option apart from Summoner's Rift, Riot has been looking for ways to diversify the way fans can play League of Legends. It's been gone for several months, but it will be returning in 2024 with some big changes.



LoL Arena mode will return in 2024 with double the lobby size



In Riot's most recent developer update video, the developers confirmed that Arena would be returning in 2024. Arena was an eight-player 2v2v2v2 mode in which players drafted pairs of champions to go into several rounds of 2v2 action. Between rounds, players would purchase items and pick Augments, powerful modifications to their abilities that can completely change how they played. Most of that formula will be the same when Arena returns later this year. However, the eight-player mode will be upped to 16 participants, making it League of Legends' largest game mode.









Prismatic Items take center stage



The League of Legends Arena mode's return will also introduce a brand-new mechanic — Prismatic Items. These are going to be build-defining items that can warp the game just as much as any Augment. These seem to be souped-up versions of the Mythic items system that Riot scrapped from Summoner's Rift early this season. The example Riot gives is The Demon King's Crown, an item that increases your base stats by a lot, but continues to amplify those increases with each round you win. However, each round you lose decreases those stats by more than a single win would raise them.



These, along with larger lobbies and almost assuredly new Augments mean a bevy of new experiences for League of Legends players. Arena is the closest Riot has gotten in

Yekindar: There's obvious room for improvement especially after the 16-5, 16-10 loss against Heroic. But that match didn't hit us that hard. It's ok that we lost it, because we got a lot of experience from it. The Heroic match showed us our problems in our team's structure. So we are going to focus on these problems going forward.

Overall I think mONESY is showing up and showing good quality Counter-Strike. The G2 individual level is really high and we need to be cautious of their individual skill.

So basically, they can start with 3A and 2 mid on Vertigo at the start of the round and not even be thinking that somebody could be on B. It's a bit of stack-based CS where its really hard to play the right sites on executes and defaults and not to die on the aggression on those stacks.


Yekindar: Their CT sides are strongly based on fast rotations and guessing the enemy's movement. So basically, they can start with 3A and 2 mid on Vertigo at the start of the round and not even be thinking that somebody could be on B. One of the few teams that has not made a roster change in 2022, Virtus.Pro has already secured a top 6 finish at IEM Katowice 2022. The team defeated Copenhagen Flames and NiP but could not overcome Heroic. Despite the 0-2 loss, Virtus.Pro is considered by many as a dark horse at IEM Katowice 2022.



Esports.gg had a chance to speak to the VP players during the IEM press conference. The players shared their thoughts on the results so far their upcoming match against G2 esports.



Q: Many consider you as a big dark horse to win the whole event. Some would even go as far as to say that you are coming in as one of the favorites, an in-form team that has been together for quite some time. How is the feeling within the team? Are you guys in optimal form right now, or is there still some improvement to be done?



Yekindar: There's obvious room for improvement especially after the 16-5, 16-10 loss against Heroic. But that match didn't hit us that hard. It's ok that we lost it, because we got a lot of experience from it. The Heroic match showed us our problems in our team's structure. So we are going to focus on these problems going forward.



It doesn't matter if people see us as favorites or not favorites. We think everything is possible and the playoffs are a different kind of game.

Q: You guys have 4-5 days before your quarterfinal match against G2. What's your plan for these days? Are you going to practice the entire duration or will you take some time off?



Yekindar: There's not really that much preparation we can do about the <a href="https://esports.gg/news/cs-go/g2-niko-i-dont-really-care-if-i-play-well-but-i-think-its-about-time-that-we-start-winning-trophies/">G2</a> lineup cause they have mONESY and AleksiB, two completely new players that has completely changed their structure.



We're just going to practice cause we know we have some problems in our gameplay, some of which you saw in the Heroic match. We know what we need to focus on and what we need to change between playoffs and the group stage.&nbsp;



We still have these four days and too much work to do.

ESL Pro League Season 15 will take place on LAN, the tournament organizer announced today. The event will take place in Germany, although ESL has not announced the exact venue just yet.

ESL Pro League will feature 24 of the best CS: GO teams competing in a LAN environment in Germany. The tournament runs from March 9 to April 10, 2022. This is the second ESL LAN event of this year. It’s also the first ESL Pro League event to take place on LAN after the pandemic first hit in 2020.&nbsp;

Along with the LAN announcement, ESL has revealed the match-ups and schedule for the group stage of the event.&nbsp;



The first match kicks off on March 9 with G2 esports taking on Australian roster LookingForOrg. There are four groups with each group playing in a round-robin format for five days. Every match in the group stage is a best-of-three affair.&nbsp;



<h3 id="changes-to-the-next-esl-conference">Changes to the next ESL Conference</h3>



The organizer also announced that the ESL conference, initially scheduled to take place alongside the ESL S16 Groups and playoffs will now take place during the DreamHack Summer festival on June 15-20. The ESL conference will also take place on LAN it was revealed in today's announcement.
