If you haven't made your Overwatch 2 updates automatic yet, then you can manually pre-download the Season 10 mid-season patch. Do this by opening the Battle.net launcher and signing in to your Blizzard account.

Next, navigate to Overwatch 2 and click on the game's icon. If you play the game a lot, it should appear in the banner indicating your favorite games. Right under the "Play" button, there's some text that reads "Download Pre-Release Content." Click on this to begin downloading the new patch ahead of time.

Select the "Settings" option



Click on the "Downloads" option

To automatically update Overwatch 2, navigate to the "Settings" area in the Battle.net launcher. Next, select the "Downloads" option and go under the "Game Updates" tab. How to unlock the Porsche D.Va skin in Overwatch 2



To add this legendary D.Va skin to your collection, launch Overwatch 2 and head to the in-game shop. You can purchase the Porsche D.Va Bundle for the skin itself plus some extra items. These include the Test Drive highlight intro, Night Drive name card, Porsche D.Va player icon, and Sweet Ride spray. In total, this bundle costs 2,500 Overwatch Coins.

This bundle includes the skin, Porsche Flight name card, and Porsche Pharah player icon. You can also get just the Pharah skin through the hero gallery for 1,900 Overwatch Coins.

The Overwatch 2 Porsche event features seven challenges in total. Completing all of them rewards you with a lot of Battle Pass XP. In terms of the other items of interest, they include the Porsche and Zero to Sixty name cards. There's also the Porsche Drift spray up for grabs.

Completing the Overwatch 2 Porsche event challenges mainly requires you to play the game. You can earn progress faster by winning matches as well. The Speeding Up challenge, in particular, requires you to earn either a triple kill/assist or higher. This can be naturally done during a team fight. You can even try to do this challenge with D.Va or Pharah, who have the new Overwatch 2 Porsche skins!

As for the Full Throttle one, just remember to contest or capture objectives while you're in Overwatch 2 matches. You'll eventually reach 500 seconds of

The Overwatch 2 and Porsche collaboration has finally arrived. The collaboration has been in the works for a long time, and features two skins for D.Va and Pharah. Both skins are based off two Porsche vehicles, but bring a classic Overwatch 2 feel to them. The joint venture between the automotive titan and Overwatch arrives May 14.

The Overwatch 2 and Porsche collaboration brings two brand-new skins to the fray. The trailer for the two skins dropped earlier today, showing off the new collaboration. One skin, which was already leaked a long time ago, is for D.Va. Meanwhile, Pharah is set to receive the other skin of the collaboration.

Both skins are absolutely gorgeous. The skins of the Overwatch 2 x Porsche collaboration expemplify the Porche brand. In that, the skins for D.Va and Pharah are modern, sleek, minimal, and clean. D.'Va's skin for the event truly looks like she's driving a Porsche while Pharah has a high-tech mech look to her skin. Both skins accomplish the goals to look like Porsche's featured vehicles, the Macan and the Taycan.

Although the collaboration between an automotive company and esports isn't entirely unique, the opportunity and recognition of growth of the esports industry is certainly a leap forwards. Several years ago there was the Mercedes collaboration with Mario Kart. Not to mention the more recent sponsorship of 100 Theives by none other than Lexus. And now, of course, we have the Overwatch 2 and Porsche collaboration.

The Overwatch 2 Porsche Collaboration pulls in

As Season 10 of Overwatch 2 continues on, we've received a mid-season patch. The changes of the May 14 patch are focused mainly on competitive gameplay as well as tanks. Surprisingly, there are no nerfs to heroes in the patch, only buffs. So suffice to say, the patch is all about improvements to existing features. So, without further ado, let's dive into the May 14 Overwatch 2 patch.

Competitive play updates 



One of the main focuses of the May 14 patch is competitive play. Specifically, one new modifier and an update to another one. The changes overall attempt to provide a better, more accurate gameplay experience for all players. You can check out the full patch notes here and below. 



The demotion protection modifier 




The modifier now shows the adjustment from the match rather than the net total.

The pressure competitive modifier 




This modifier is for those who are at the far ends of the skill distribution (either low or high compared to the average).  



Modifier shows up when you don’t earn as much progress from winning or losing. 



Higher-ranked players will lose more from matches while lower=ranked players will gain more for winning matches. 




Group restrictions 




Now, Grandmaster players can group within three divisions and still be considered a narrow group. 



Champion players can group within one division. 




Losing streaks 




If a player is on a losing streak, then the matchmaker will try to avoid placing that player on a team with other players who are losing.

How to get free Overwatch Coins

Apex icon ImperialHal has announced he is leaving TSM. The 'Apex CEO' has competed under the TSM banner since March 2019 earning almost three quarters of a million dollars with the organisation. ImperialHal also has announced he will be linking up with Zer0 and Genburten at DarkZero. 



However, he has announced that now is the right time for him to leave the organisation. This decision follows a sup-par LAN event for TSM.



The multi-LAN champion explained in a video posted on X, that this decision was about him seeking a change rather than any issue with the organisation. It is not clear if he will be officially signing with DarkZero or just teaming with them. Hal recently signed with Redbull Gaming.

ImperialHal leaving TSM is the end of an era



ImperialHal departing TSM is the end of an iconic era of Apex Legends esports. TSM dominated ALGS Year 3, with an almost perfect set of LAN results. They finished 1st, 2nd and 1st across the three global events.



ImperialHal has earned over $700,000 in Apex Legends, with all of that coming while signed to TSM. He joined the organisation in 2019 and has never competed for another team until now.







What happens to Reps and Verhulst?



It is not yet clear what the future holds for Reps and Verhulst on TSM. Together they will hold a Pro League spot. However, after the departure of Raven and now ImperialHal this feels like a huge crossroads for the TSM team. Reps in particular has competed with ImperialHal for the vast majority of his career. Do they continue to compete together, look for other teams or could we see one or both of them stop competing entirely?

ImperialHal has announced he will be teaming with DarkZero, for the rest of ALGS Year 4. The rumours, while initially unbelievable, have now been officially confirmed.

The Esports World Cup has released more details about their Apex Legends event. The Apex Legends tournament in Riyadh will have a $2,000,000 prize pool, will feature 40 teams and will be open for anyone to try and enter!



That makes this event the joint highest Apex Legends prize-pool ever, tied with the ALGS Championship events. 



Apex Legends Esports World Cup event format



The event will use a different format to what we have seen at ALGS LAN events. The Apex Legends esports World Cup event will divide the 40 teams into two groups. Those teams will compete for a top 9 slot to qualify for the finals. 



Then, teams who finished between 10th and 19th (meaning 20th place is eliminated early) will compete in a high stakes Last Chance Qualifier for the final two slots in the grand finals.







The event will run as follows:

Group Stage and Last Chance stages will be a whopping TEN games.



The Finals will use the Match Point format, with a threshold of 60 points, not the usual 50.



The Maps used will be Storm Point and Worlds Edge. However, games five and six in the Group Stage and Last Chance are marked as Viewer Selection in the Rule Book. It is not clear if that is a choice between Worlds Edge and Storm Point, or if fans could vote to add in one of Olympus, Broken Moon or Kings Canyon.



Which teams will play?



The Esports World Cup will be inviting the top eight teams from the recent ALGS Pro League across the four regions. For all regions besides North America, this will be the exact same teams that qualified for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs.



North America has 12 slots for that event, meaning some teams will be forced into open qualifiers. This might cause some frustration with those teams, who didn't realise qualification for this event was also on the line.

Esports World Cup Apex Legends: Format, how to enter & more

With the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs over, and about three weeks until Split 2 Pro League starts there is a window for ALGS teams to make roster changes.



Usually, there wouldn't be any major changes between Splits, as teams look to focus on practicing rather than rebuilding their team. However, there is set to be some major reshuffles. Particularly amongst teams in North America.



This ALGS roster changes tracker will help you follow any changes as and when they happen. For now, this will focus on North America and EMEA.

ALGS Rostermania: Roster Rules Recap



ALGS teams are restricted by a 2/4 roster rule. Any team must maintain at least 2 competitors from the last Pro League Split. Qualified teams cannot make ALGS roster changes until after Week 1 (besides adding players/coaches).



In order to give themselves more flexibility, some teams register their coach as a fourth player. This allows them to potentially change 2 players out between splits. Those coaches have been denoted.



All ALGS roster changes information below is a correlation of public 'LFT' posts and news, cross referenced with Battlefy rosters. 



Players who are still on Battlefy but have announced they are leaving their roster are treated as departed. Players who are not on Battlefy but have not said anything about a team change, are also treated as departed.

<p>Between April 25 and April 28, players duked it out at the WDG eSports Studio in Seoul. The offline tournament featured eight teams fighting under a double-elimination format. In the end, team Crazy Raccoon took home the gold and the $25,000 USD prize pool. This victory also advanced Crazy Raccoon to the 2024 OWCS Dallas Major and Esports World Cup 2024!</p>

This was followed by a 3-1 win over From The Gamer in the semifinals before taking Team Falcons 3-0 in the final. When the grand final came around, Crazy Raccoon earned a score of 4-1 after defeating Team Falcons once again.</p>

There, they faced team LFO in the upper-bracket quarterfinals first, scoring 3-1 and advancing to the semifinals. Against Timeless, Toronto Defiant went 3-2 and continued to dominate the bracket. </p>

<p>Between April 25 and April 28, players duked it out at the WDG eSports Studio in Seoul. The offline tournament featured eight teams fighting under a double-elimination format. In the end, team Crazy Raccoon took home the gold and the $25,000 USD prize pool. This victory also advanced Crazy Raccoon to the 2024 OWCS Dallas Major and Esports World Cup 2024!</p>

<p>The victorious players on the 2024 OWCS Crazy Raccoon roster were Junbin, MAX, HeeSang, LIP, CH0R0NG, and Shu. Players such as MAX and Shu celebrated their victory on social media. In Japanese, both players thanked everyone for their support while Shu also noted Crazy Raccoon's advancement to the 2024 OWCS Dallas Major and the possibility of winning it. </p>

<p>Meanwhile, Crazy Raccoon head coach Moon shared how honored he felt to win his first championship. He added that he would continue doing his best to win many more trophies. Moon posted a photo of his team enjoying a victory meal as well. </p>
